TOMINTOUL 15 YEARS OLD 2006 PORT CASK FINISH
Tomintoul 15 Year Old Port Cask Finish was distilled in 2006 and matured initially in ex-bourbon American oak casks before being finished in Port pipe casks specially sourced from Portugal.
The Port pipe casks perfectly complement Tomintoul Single Malt imparting chocolate, cherry, sultana and spices, which enhance the character and complexity of the whisky.
TASTING NOTES
| Nose | Creamy and sweet with aromas of heather honey, soft nougat, vanilla fudge and toasted brioche with lemon zest highlights. |
| Palate | Nutty and well-rounded with layers of creme brulee and boiled sweets mingled with touches of mocha and amoretti biscuit. |
| Finish | Mellow and warming with notes of shortbread, cinnamon icing and brittle toffee lingering on the tongue. |
