We are delighted to announce the release of three new Vintage Limited Editions to our Tomintoul Range.
Tomintoul 12 Year Old Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish was distilled in 2009 and matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks before being finished in Oloroso Sherry butts sourced by Master Distiller Robert Fleming from Andalucía, Spain. The Oloroso Sherry butts perfectly complement Tomintoul Single Malt imparting rich fruit flavours, toffee sweetness and spice, which enhance the character and complexity. This is a limited release of only 13,445 individually numbered bottles.
Tomintoul 15 Year Old Port Cask Finish was distilled in 2006 and matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks, then finished in Port pipe casks. The Port pipe casks perfectly complement Tomintoul Single Malt, which enhance the character and complexity of the whisky. The finished whisky is elegant, intricate and fruit rich, bottled at 46% alc/vol, natural colour and non-chill filtered. It is a limited release of only 9,762 individually numbered bottles.
Tomintoul 16 Year Old Sauternes Cask Finish was distilled in 2004 and matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks before being finished in French oak casks which previously contained Sauternes wine, to add depth and complexity with stone fruits, honey, marmalade and spice. The finished whisky is elegant and intricate, it is bottled at natural colour and non-chill filtered. This release is limited to only 5,094 bottles.
