Six Tomintoul expressions awarded Gold and Old Ballantruan 15 wins Master Medal at Global Scotch Whisky Masters 2025
We’re proud to announce that six Tomintoul expressions have been awarded Gold Medals at the Global Scotch Whisky Masters 2025. A fantastic result in our 60th anniversary year.
The awarded single malts include:
- Tomintoul Madeira Cask Finish
- Tempranillo Cask Finish, Amarone Cask Finish
- Pedro Ximénez Cask Finish
- Cigar Malt
- 10 Year Old
- 16 Year Old
We’re also proud to announce that Old Ballantruan 15 Year Old has been awarded a Master medal at the Global Scotch Whisky Masters 2025 - the highest honour in the competition.
Crafted at Tomintoul Distillery using heavily peated barley and matured for over 15 years in hand-selected American oak casks, this award recognises the bold complexity and distinctive character of Old Ballantruan.
To be recognised across such a wide range of styles and receive a Master award is a testament to the consistency and dedication of our talented production team at Tomintoul Distillery.
