Distillery tours at the home of the gentle dram
Tomintoul Distillery is named after the nearby village of Tomintoul, the highest village in the Highlands of Scotland.
The Distillery was established in 1965 and uses traditional techniques that stretch back hundreds of years, to make our award-winning single malt, “the gentle dram”.
Now you can enjoy a guided behind the scenes tour of the Distillery
Enjoy a guided behind the scenes tour of Tomintoul Distillery, located in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park and see how our dedicated team use traditional distilling techniques that stretch back hundreds of years, to handcraft our award-winning Single Malt Scotch Whisky. The tour will be followed by a tasting of three Tomintoul Single Malts. The experience lasts approximately 90 minutes.
Tours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 10:00, 12:30 and 15:00. The cost of the tour is £20 per person and it can be booked via the link below.
Shop: Our shop is open Monday to Saturday 10:00 - 17:00, offering a range of single malts, merchandise and glassware - the perfect keepsake from your trip to the Cairngorms National Park.

Tomintoul Distillery is within the gateway to the Cairngorms National Park. It's located just over an hour’s drive from Inverness and a little under two hours from Aberdeen.
